Natural History Museum in Magdeburg

We made a school trip to Magdeburg, the capital of province of Saxony-Anhalt. We spent 4 days there. We have seen the Natural History Museum. It was reallly inpressive to see and to touch fossils and live size models of animals like whale, tiger, monkey and elephant.Do you remember the film "The night in the museum"? Okay, now you know what we felt when we have seen this animals.

Spring2012: First work in our butterfly garden

Last friday we worked the first times in this spring in our buttlerfly garden. It was cloudy, a little bit cold, but without rain. We have seen a lot of yellow and blue early bloomers and earthworms, but not butterflies and bees, because the cold weather. We planted sunflowers and wildflowers, because they are a paradise for butterflies, bees and humblebees.

Herb garden in everbody's kitchen

Herbs are tasty and healthy. Our teacher has a big herb garden in the garden. She brought lemon balm and so we planted the little pieces of this herb in flower pots. Everyone of us will have a little herb garden in his kitchen in the end of the schoolyear in July, because we will plant other herbs like peppermint, parsley, thyme and basil. Also we planted little flower seeds to cultivate them for our butterflies garden.
